Thingstaette Heidelberg
The Heidelberg Thingstaette is one of about 40 Thing places of the early period of Nazism and was built from 1934 to 1935 according to plans of the architect Hermann Alker by the Reichsarbeitsdienst and Heidelberg students. The Thingstätte offers space for up to 20,000 people and is said to have been built on an alleged Germanic cult site.
