Challenge 10/52: „Symmetrical composition“

Ich wollte unbedingt mal die Stadtbibliothek in Stuttgart besuchen, obwohl ich kein Bücherwurm bin. Aber zum Fotografieren ist sie auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.
Als ich die Eingangshalle betrat, ging plötzlich ein ohrenbetäubender Alarm los und überall blitzten helle Lichter auf. Ich war völlig überwältigt, wurde ohnmächtig und fiel auf den Boden!
Nach einer gefühlten Ewigkeit und beunruhigenden Traumsequenzen kam ich langsam wieder zu Bewusstsein. Ich lag immer noch auf dem Boden und starrte an die Decke, wo verschiedene Lichter in absoluter Symmetrie auf mich herabstrahlten. Und aus den Lautsprechern warnte eine tiefe Stimme: „Du bist ein Sünder der Literatur! Was machst du hier?“
Als ich beim Leben meiner Kamera schwor, dass ich mir ein Buch ausleihen und es heute lesen würde, wurde ich auf Bewährung entlassen. Zum Glück hatte niemand gesehen, dass ich meine Finger gekreuzt hatte :-P

I wanted to visit the city library in Stuttgart, even though I'm not a bookworm. But it's absolutely worth a visit for photography.
As I entered the entrance hall, a deafening alarm suddenly went off and bright lights flashed everywhere. I was totally overwhelmed, fainted and fell to the floor!
After what felt like an eternity and disturbing dream phrases, I slowly regained consciousness. I was still lying on the floor, staring up at the ceiling, where various lights were shining down on me in absolute symmetry. And from the loudspeakers, a deep voice warned: "You are a sinner of literature! What are you doing here?"

When I swore on the life of my camera that I would borrow a book and read it today, I was let off on probation. Luckily, no one had seen that I had crossed my fingers :-P
