Hi Tom,
I stepped over your pictures by chance and I'm impressed about the beautiful NZ landscapes you are showing and their quality. I have been to NZ twice so far and fell in love with the country and its gorgeous nature. I wil definitely visit your site again.
greetings from Germany, Claudia
Haha, hi Tom - thanks' for your comment! I was tempted to explain right under the photo that this is probably the only photo in my collection with a horizon in the middle and also the way leading right into the middle. But you didn't think I haven't thought about that, hey? Try - when I move the horizon up on the upper 2/3 line the whole pic loses depth, the same happens when I move the horizon towards the lower 2/3 line. This pic need the long way and also the sky, I don't want to cut one of them. I think it has to be exactly as it is to have the depth I wanted to show. Haha, I'm still laughing that you tell me about horizons blabla... that's usually my first criticism when I look around here in other peoples pics. Funny, but thank's. Wish you where here and we could "discuss" this subject... ;))))
Cheers Annett
Hi! Thank's! To be honest I was almost happy to have found something I would have done differently - your photos are just great and I wish I could keep up with your level. I really like your style and your feeling for good shots. Yes and I wish too, that there would be more people around who dare to speak out loud their own vision about a photo, it's not about talking bad, it's about growing, trying to compare different opinions, to develop knowledge and a feeling for photography, to find a style. It is quite boring when you have 20 people writing "well done, nice pic". In this way - hope to see and hear more from you! I appreciate your opinion!
Cheers Annett
Hey hey,
thanks for the comment man...By the way, saw your photos from NZ on facebook! Hell, how I wish I was there too...Maybe next time, but gorgeous pictures, really..you've done a good job there!
Take care!
Dark does not exist... it is but the absence of light.
As a photographer, I need only master the light.
Your photos show that you are well on your way to being the master. Impressive work. -archie
